Organizing Time Tip:

How Do You Overcome Wasting Time In Your Business?  One of the best ways to begin eliminating "disorganized" time wasting activities is to start each day with a written schedule of the activities you want to do and the goals you want to achieve.

Task Management Tip:  

Determine the best time for tasks. Use your most productive time to do your most productive work. Alert in the morning? Afternoon? Tackle your most difficult, important work during your most energetic periods, and save easy tasks for less energetic periods.

Time Management Tip #1

Be sure your systems are organized. Are you wasting a lot of time looking for files on your computer? Take the time to organize a file management system. Is your filing system slowing you down? Redo it, so it's organized to the point that you can quickly lay your hands on what you need.

Time Management Tip #2

If you have a big project and you are dreading getting started, break it down into smaller pieces--one at a time! This way, you will feel a sense of control in working it into your schedule and a sense of completion when it’s done.

Time Management Tip #3

Don’t let your voice mail, email and in-person interruptions control every moment of your day. Acknowledge them and give them plenty of your time. However, also reserve time during the day that is your time with NO interruptions,... no matter what. Use this time - 30 to 60 minutes each day - to take care of what YOU need to take care of.
